At this manor house in Tarvin, Cheshire, we had to match exactly the original cornice (which was made up in 2 parts) and replace around the whole chimney breast and part way up the returning walls. The new and old married together perfectly, and once painted you couldn’t notice any difference. In this house we also fitted ceiling roses and repaired many different types of cornices.
